Privacy at Videx
Videx is designed to be creative and low-friction without asking for more than it needs. Here's a plain-language overview of how the app approaches your privacy.
No accounts, no logins
Videx has no user accounts, profiles, or passwords. A private, device-scoped identity is created for you, so there's no personal profile to manage or leak. Your Videx PRO status is stored on your device.
Consent before tracking
Before any ad tracking, Videx presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and a GDPR/EU consent flow, so you decide what you're comfortable with up front.
A content-safety filter
Prompts that violate the guidelines are blocked with a clear message before they're sent to the server, helping keep the experience appropriate for everyone.
Privacy-forward analytics
Usage analytics are handled with privacy in mind. Analytics help improve the app; they aren't a profile of you sold on to others.
Your prompts, photos, and videos
Videx generates videos by calling hosted AI services, so your prompt and any reference photo you choose to use are processed to produce your result. Reference images are auto-scaled before upload. Creations aren't kept in a personal cloud gallery — once you save a video to your device's photo library, it's yours to keep and share. Free-tier exports carry a small Videx watermark; Videx PRO removes it from every video you save or share.
Subscriptions
Videx PRO is purchased and managed through your Apple ID. Your subscription entitlement is stored per device rather than in a cross-device account, and Restore Purchases re-applies an active subscription on the same device. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — Videx never sees your card details.
